Deshaun Watson awkwardly driven out of Alabama bar

Tuscaloosa bar denies they kicked out Deshaun Watson

Friday night, Clemson Tigers QB Deshaun Watson was simply trying to get a bite at a Tuscaloosa bar and promptly left after it was reported that people did not want him there.

It's not surprising to see how much respect Watson earned in his two championship games against Alabama.

A pair of videos that surfaced Friday on Twitter appeared to show the former Clemson quarterback leaving Innisfree, an Irish pub in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, after being confronted by a pair of former Alabama football players.

As you would expect, emotions are still running high for the Alabama faithful and two former Crimson Tide players made a decision to heckle Watson while he was enjoying a meal.

The patron who shot one of the videos declined comment when contacted by ESPN.

Over the years we have had thousands of visitors from rival schools and have always treated them fairly.

Well, Alabama fans haven't forgotten, and they still harbor some real animosity toward Watson (who, for the record, is a pretty hard guy to dislike, but did break their hearts). "The unfolding of today's events were not led by our staff or anyone employed by Innisfree Irish Pubs", the statement read.

Certainly, most Bama fans respect Watson despite his dazzling national title game-winning performance in January. It also said that the customer responsible was immediately asked to leave after he was identified.

But the quarterback likely didn't expect to be run out of an Alabama bar three months later. We apologize for any inconvenience this incident caused to our customers.
