Naam Shabana : No Match To Baby

Naam Shabana Anupam Kher Women

Naam Shabana released in 2100 screens and the numbers are definitely disastrous. So far, according to Box Office India, Taapsee's film performed best on the ticket window on Friday. Hyderabad and Gujarat have majorly contributed to the film's collections on the first day.

The movie had an average occupancy for morning shows, however, a wider release helped the film to rake in good moolah.

Alongside Taapsee and Manoj, the Hindi offering also features Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher in supporting role. The story is all about how Taapsee along with Jay Singh Rajput played by Akshay Kumar gets into a mission and how she became a part of the Baby.

Taapsee Pannu's recent release "Naam Shabana" has got a moderate response from the audience on its day of release and made a collection of Rs 5.12 cr on its first day. In the United States, the movie will release in 82 screens; in UAE, it will be shown in 43 screens; followed by 28 screens in Britain and 21 screens in Australia. Naam Shabana is the 6th highest opening day of 2017 after Raees, Jolly LLB 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Kaabil and Rangoon.

Naam Shabana is produced by Neeraj Pandey and directed by Shivam Nair.

However, Taapsee's performance was lauded by critics as well and they called her the saving grace of the film.

Taapsee has thanked the public for driving the business of "Naam Shabana", which is her fourth Bollywood outing after "Chashme Baddoor", "Baby" and "Pink".

Akshay Kumar charms his way in the film with his magic and makes his fans happy in a "special" appearance that is truly special.

Manoj Bajpayee delivers what's written for him but his performance was not as impressive as his previous works.
