GameStop: Nintendo Switch Sales "Have Been Phenomenal"

Nintendo Switch News Sonic Mania Delayed

Well, as Gamestop suggests, Nintendo Switch sales have been really good from the day it launched.

Nintendo Switch stock has nearly vanished from all the big and small vendors across the globe.

"The customer enthusiasm and response we have seen so far [to Nintendo Switch] has been incredible as we continue to sell through our supply of systems", GameStop merchandising director Eric Bright said in a statement this week.

"The Nintendo Switch is off to a start right now that it could possibly eclipse the Wii", he said.

Despite this slight setback, however, Nintendo is reportedly doubling their efforts to produce more Switch units.

"We're seeing tremendous success with the power chargers for the Nintendo Switch, as well as people coming in and picking up extra Joy-Con so people can turn it into a four-player device", Bright added. Obviously, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the big game that most everyone is buying with the system, but it'll be interesting to hopefully find out how well other games like 1-2-Switch and Super Bomberman R are selling alongside the Switch as well. It is been strongly recommended that the customer who is willing to purchase a Nintendo Switch, Nintendo NES Classic Edition to visit the stores as early as possible for this stock may also evaporate off soon. The gaming company went on to say that it is making continuous efforts to update the online support site and provide real-time answers to inquiries. Nintendo is now facing a very tough market with both of the rivals PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Having access to Nintendo Switch's exclusive titles will definitely be a great appeal for them. Nintendo's last console, the Wii U, sold 3 million units in its first six weeks on the market in 2012, but ended up topping out at just 13.56 million units total in its time on the market, which was far below the expectations.

The success of the Switch has Nintendo's stock price surging. If Nintendo Switch achieves to reach there, it'll definitely make more progress in the market.
