Alex Rodriguez still has a role with the Yankees as a special advisor to Hal Steinbrenner

People reports that a source confirmed the Shades of Blue actress, 47, has been dating former professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez "for a few weeks" now.

Prior to hooking up with Rodriguez, Lopez reportedly enjoyed a brief fling with Drake. In his time in the Bronx, Rodriguez set a host of baseball records, including the most runs for a NY born player and for a player of Hispanic descent. Although the two are not living together as of yet, they still meet each other few times a month.

His previous dating lineup included A-listers Madonna, Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz.

Jennifer Lopez and Drake's winter fling is definitely over.

Rodriguez' relationship with Lopez, 48, comes just months after his high-profile break-up with Silicon Valley fixture Anne Wojcicki. "She has great respect for him and his talent and he does for her as well".

"She seems excited", the source, who is close to Lopez, said to PEOPLE.

Jennifer Lopez is now dating Alex Rodriguez. Fox is the majority owner of the YES Network and A-Rod said on Michael Kay's ESPN radio show that it would be a privilege to work with Kay and that maybe they could work together some day. He was also married to Cynthia Scurtis for six years until they divorced in 2008.

A representative for Alex, known by the nickname A-Rod, had no comment about the fledgling romance when contacted by the outlet, while Jennifer's spokesperson has yet to respond to a request for comment. Jenny from the block famously hails the Castle Hill neighborhood of New York City's Bronx borough, where her family kept a house at 2210 Blackrock Ave until 1999. Alex Rodriguez, on the other hand, also has two kids: 12-year-old Natasha and eight-year-old Ella. They made their public debut as a couple at the 2016 MET Gala but broke up shortly after. And for good reason, it is about Alex Rodriguez aka the living legend of the baseball of 41 years that officiated in the team of Yankees.
