Holy smoke! Glenn Heights cop pushes burning truck out of Jack in the Box drive-thru

The officer then pushed the truck out of the drive-thru line and away from the restaurant.

Police dashcam video caught an wonderful save by a Texas officer who saw a pickup truck engulfed in flames next to a fast food restaurant Saturday.

Officers responded at 9 p.m. Saturday to the Jack in the Box at 1703 S. Beckley Road.

The officer successfully pushed the vehicle away from the building by using his police auto. He was able to get his wife and daughter out of the truck safely before it burst into flames.

When he arrived at the scene, Womack found a Ford truck engulfed in flames dangerously close to the restaurant, with flames licking the side of the building.

"My adrenaline was going a little bit".

It wasn't clear what became of the pickup's driver or what caused it to catch fire.

No injuries were reported and the Glenn Heights Police Department says Officer Womack is sure to be rewarded for his life-saving actions.

"It was just a God-send that I was here at that particular time", he told Fox 29.
