Microsoft has an apparent leak showing the upcoming version of a Windows OS

Windows Blog Italia first published the leaked screenshots supposedly showing 'Windows 10 Cloud.' - Picture courtesy of Windows Blog ItaliaSAN FRANCISCO, Feb 7 - Although unconfirmed by Microsoft, several specialist technology websites are reporting that the USA tech giant could be in the process of developing a simplified and lower-cost version of its Windows 10 operating system. My People is a feature that will let users pin their favorite contacts to the Windows taskbar for faster and easier messaging and document sharing.

Microsoft officials said today that the Windows 10 Creators Update software development kit is feature-complete, as of this point.

In a separate announcement yesterday, Microsoft also said it's offering a free Windows 10 update option to Windows Enterprise Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program subscribers.

And as Petri pointed out, it's likely just a matter of time before hackers "jailbreak" Windows 10 Cloud to run the full version. This looks basically like a picture-in-picture mode for Windows apps, and it should be pretty great for video streaming apps like Netflix or messaging apps like Skype.

Twitter user Lakshmi "Tito" Ullu first called attention to the existence of Windows Cloud in a January 27 tweet showing a screenshot of code from a Windows 10 preview build released earlier that day.

The new overlay Achievement tracker on the latest Xbox One preview builds. "A person playing a game, for example, might be willing to have a few less FPS [frames per second] when on a long flight if it gets them more battery life - whereas the same person playing the same game, when near a power supply, may want top-end CPU performance to eek [sic] out every ounce of performance they can get".

As always there are other improvements and known issues in this preview build.

Besides that, you will be surprised to learn that Win32 apps that have been converted to windows universal apps also do not work on the OS as of right now but we could see support for such apps somewhere down the line as WU apps are supposed to work across the board on all Windows 10 devices.
